Juliana got a new "Brain Cell" plush for Christmas from her Uncle Abram and Aunt Jen. She loves it.
Here's a link where you can see it better...
She insists on bringing it to bed. She loves it and it makes her so so so so happy, she says.
She's 2.

For my fellow Doctor Who fans... (aka Whovians) here are the 13 Tardises from last year's 50th anniversary special... these are our Christmas ornaments for our family from last year (Ginny got one too so we'd have the right number, even if she wasn't born yet...) but Michael just finished making them.
So we have 13 Tardises surrounding our Christmas Tree now.
:)
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, watch some Doctor Who episodes. They're pretty cool.

Tonight's dinner is brought to you by the word FREE. The oldest three were at a Christmas sort of party (where they had pizza) so we decided to use a Free Papa Murphy's punch card, a free Papa John's points, and the Elementary School kiddos' Pizza Hut BookIt Reading Rewards.
So we picked them all up tonight and ate dinner for free.

He sure is excited about sharing Elder Richard G Scott's talk, "Make the Exercise of Faith Your First Priority" for Family Home Evening.
The talk can be found to watch, listen, or read, here.

Benjamin playing Carol of the Bells on piano
Benjamin allowed me to video him playing the song he just learned. He's been taking lessons almost all year, and he took beginning piano a few years ago.
I think he sounds great, but that's his mom talking. This is something he's really motivated to learn, and he is definitely progressing!
Enjoy! (and comment, he'll see them.)

We performed "The Many Moods of Christmas" cantata with other members of our stake and friends. 105 volunteer musicians. It was fantastic!
Michael took this picture from the balcony where he watched with Samuel and Emilie. Last year they attended the dress rehearsal and Benjamin and Nathanael went to the performance, so this year they switched. Though Benjamin also got to bring Liberty, Timothy and Christopher, which made it a bit crazier.
Still a great day!

Tonight for Family Home Evening we went and saw Jackson County, Missouri's "Christmas in the Park" lights. There's a whole campground devoted to a Christmas light display and it was a LOT of fun. On the way home we drove by Kansas City's Plaza area (near where Tom works) and their (also famous) Christmas lights.
It was a fun evening!

Every year (almost) since Tom and I got married and had kids his mom has sent us a Christmas bear. So we have bears with the years 1996 to 2014 on their feet. (we filled in the years she missed). So far, that's 19 bears! So fun!
The kids LOVE them and they are a fun part of our decorations each year. They are well played with...

This was at our ward Christmas party.
Nathanael, Samuel and Timothy are in the back row. Nathanael is in the middle in a red shirt, without glasses. Timothy is the shortest one in the back row. Samuel is on the end in the striped black shirt.
Christopher is in the middle row with the black shirt and pacman ghosts. Liberty is in front, but you can only see Liberty's ponytail.
They were singing for us.
We didn't stay long due to sick baby girls, but we were glad we were there!

Ginny is T R O U B L E like all 10 month olds are. She can go anywhere, do anything, and thinks she's hot stuff! Here's she's ready to chase something else after figuring out the child lock (it wasn't locked) on my cabinet that holds all my storage containers and lids.
Who knows how soon she'll be running! We love this tiny little sweetheart.

I could post about making 12 pies today but I won't. I could post about the many phone calls I fielded today but I won't. I could post about 10 kids needing my help today but I won't.
Instead I leave you with this...
This is Juliana with her favorite doll. Both grandmas says she needs a BABY. She loves her zombie.
(Zombie, from video game cartoonish Plants Vs. Zombies... not anything gross.)

Today Grandma Valencic got an armful of Valencics. These are my 3 kids in 3 years... Timothy just turned 8, Liberty just turned 5, and Christopher is 6 1/2. The kids loved having time to play and talk with Grandma. She came for Timothy's baptism and went home today. It was great having her here to visit.
