Halloween!   As fun and cute as you make it!

Though this pizza sure turns out a little more disturbing than the advertising... (Jack O Lantern Papa Murphy's pizza).  We are so very thankful for the friends who brought over dinner for our family!

It was delicious.

We have our candy ready to pass out.  (advertising tastes so good.)



We found a fun new ghostie for our yard.  Doesn't he fit in well?



Liberty was a pumpkin.  Yes, her hair is green.  And Emilie did her face.



Juliana is a cow and she was really really really excited about telling me she was going to moo.



Christopher was Captain America.  Awesome.  Emilie did his face, too.



Ginny was a happy cow.  I think she was just thrilled about being outside.  We've been sick lately so we haven't gotten out much.



Timothy is a Sith (Star Wars).  This kid can really get into his roles.  Acting?  Maybe.



Happy Cow!  (I think I said that already.)


Samuel is a Jack O Lantern.  The pumpkin costume really is round, he's just skinny.
And yes, his hair is bright green.



Emilie.  Little Red Riding Hood.  And she is looking good.  And CUTE.  She's not old enough to be gorgeous.

Nathanael, I mean, Santa Claus, is here early this year.



Here's my whole group of trick or treaters... (and Tom took them, I stayed behind to pass out candy)
(and Michael and Benjamin are working at the World of Fun Haunt.)



One parting note...

Emilie came in early with the little girls.

She said, "I trick or treated til the cows came home!"

Finally got some stuff up for Halloween... but with the Royals going to the World Series, a change had to be made.  Yes, the ghost gets to wear a Royals shirt again.



I don't know what the pumpkin is looking at.

Cards from Grandma... (Halloween cards).  Ginny was so thrilled!



So was Christopher.



So was Nathanael.  (where's your card?)



He decided on his costume for Halloween.  (but not for Trunk or Treat)



This is probably as close to coordinating costumes as we'll come... Star Wars boys...



Every.  One. of my almost 2 year olds has done this with costumes.  Ginny was no exception.  She cheered up though.



Jules is a cow.


Liberty is a firefighter.


Emilie is Darth Vader.  Goes with the boys' costumes above.  I didn't get a picture of her until we were at church because she was at a YW meeting until time for the Trunk or Treat/Chili Cookoff at church.



Michael and Benjamin worked.


Or, as Benjamin said, they dressed as Kaman's Art Shoppe Employees.  Popular costume.

They each pick their own for the week, or two weeks.




And here we picked up some treats for our trunk or treat...  NO we're not passing out the sugar, just the candy on top of the sugar.  Wait.

Yes, that's a big bucket.  That's 7 kids' worth of trick or treating and trunk or treating over two nights... they had a blast.  It will be gone soon with the 3 oldest kids sharing it too... (and Mom and Dad...)

Happy Halloween!

Halloween cuteness, here, folks. Juliana is nearly 19 months old, loves Nursery, chocolate, and chicken. Not all at once. She also loves water and the Nursery workers at church said her first week was the first time they'd ever gone through a whole pitcher of water for snack time!

The back of our van for our ward Trunk or Treat, after the Chili cook-off and costume parade and carnival. We had a huge turnout! Our van was also playing Mannheim Steamroller Halloween music, which you really should check out.

Juliana was not too happy because I'd walked a few steps away to take the picture... otherwise she was thrilled to sit there, eat her sucker and push the button on our eyeball jar.
