We got snowed in tonight.  (Roads were just slick enough to call off church activities for the evening.)

We stayed in and watched Harry Potter.

Star Wars day for our family!

I brought some of the kids in the afternoon, and Tom took the older kids later in the evening (after Benjamin got off work.)

We loved it!

(our nearest theatre does $5 Tuesdays...)

Liberty is an awesome Jedi.  See, girls can use the Force, too!

No, Juliana and Ginny didn't go.  They would have if we'd all been able to go together... but we gave Jules the choice and she chose staying at home and watching Wonder Pets.  Ginny took a nap.

Again, we were talking about favorite memories from the year and Timothy's was going to see Jurassic World with me.

One of our Christmas presents to our children last Christmas was that they each got to choose a movie to go see with Mom or Dad.

Ginny was soooo happy to see more family come home!



Nathanael and Benjamin came home Saturday night for Sunday.  Then Monday morning they would leave again... Benjamin to Nauvoo Youth Conference for three days (with Michael and Emilie), and Nathanael back to Scout Camp for three days.



We got a new camera and have been playing with it a lot... has a "sketch" mode.



Plus I have cute kids.  Jules...

Here are my smallest Frozen Fans.  They were so thrilled when we came home with these shirts for them.  However, they are sizes 6 and 7-8.  NOT the sizes 2 and 4 my girls wear... so they'll last, right?

A homeschool "win" moment... I was at Sam's Club.  My kids, while watching a movie (How to Train Your Dragon), paused the movie, took this picture, and kept on watching... so they had proof.

Michael's latest purchase... now, he saves most of what he earns at his job (after tithing) for his mission, but with the rest, he does making some fun decisions. This was the most recent.

Seasons 1-7 complete on DVD, brand new. They arrived today.

Just got blu-ray versions of our Harry Potter movies... one of our DVDs was not working anyway and the others were just great deals... (plus one was replacing a full screen copy we got from Tom's work... )

Year 7 we already had on Blu-ray. looking forward to trying these out!

After the whirlwind movie making yesterday, Michael decided to make another movie... see his other movies here.  (you can view his movies and his artwork without having a facebook account, it is his official page.) Here he is preparing the set and characters and props.  I decided to take a picture before he took over my camera.

Liberty peeking over the edge of the couch while standing on a container... she's absolutely thrilled to be tall.

Oh, and we're watching The Love Bug here. It's at the part where evil Mr. Thorndyke is getting the girl to get whats his name Douglas out of the way so he can sabotage Herbie. We like Herbie. I think we're only missing one of the movies. We had all of them on VHS at one time.
