My best friend turned 42 today.
We had a blast! I love when the kids really get into it...

Juliana fell asleep during dinner... so when she woke up, we gave her a sandwich.
Here, Ginny scooted up to sit next to her so her sister could "share!"
Hooray! You were born. Yep. We're pretty thrilled!!!
I seriously love this man. Glad I married him.
And... last of all... our favorite present to him was two blueberry bushes. Yay, yardwork! haha.

Emilie, being herself. She got a birthday card that is so cute and she grinned pretty big (it says, "All the other planets are jealous" on the inside.) She's also wearing makeup for the first time. No, she doesn't need it, but she feels pretty and loves it.

Today was Michael's Eagle Court of Honor! It was a great day.
Even though there were some mishaps in the set up, etc, it still turned out great!
Emilie helped decorate the awesome cake a friend made.
We also couldn't find the projector(s) that was supposed to be there at the church so we ended up showing the movie Michael made on a TV.
I'm pretty proud of what this pin means.

Today is TWO of my daughters' birthdays. 3 years ago, on Emilie's 12th birthday, I had my Juliana!
Juliana turned 3. Ever since, she's been telling everyone she's 3, even though it isn't her birthday anymore.
Emilie says Jules is her birthday present.
We had a great day! Emilie decided that instead of 2 cakes, her cake would be a "fruit" cake. See the 15? She also got her haircut... at a convenient time so that, unbeknownst to her, her Young Women leaders and friends could come decorate our driveway, door, and her bedroom for her birthday!

Tonight we had the privilege of bringing Nathanael to the temple for the first time to do baptisms for the dead. Benjamin was supposed to come with us but our babysitter fell through. So Tom, Michael, Emilie, Nathanael, and I all went to the family priority time at our Kansas City temple and performed baptisms together. It was a neat experience, and I hope we'll be able to go again soon.
Why baptisms for the dead?

My young men headed to Priesthood Session broadcast at the Stake Center (Church building). I know it is broadcast at home now. It doesn't matter. They will meet together with other Priesthood holders and enjoy the spirit together. (and pizza)
And yes, Tom is young, too.
Oh, and we also decorated eggs for Easter.
