Yes, it's a lot of notebooks but not as many as I bought the year they were 5 cents each... and I still need more to get through the year without having to buy them for 6 times as much!
I do love school supply shopping but sometimes it's a huge guess to make sure we get the right amount.
I went to grab my usual 6 dozen boxes of crayons, and realized that I actually don't need that many! My big kids use nice colored pencils instead now. I settled for 2 dozen boxes instead--enough for my 3 littles to get a new box each for our trip out west, for the new school year, for Christmas, etc. That was kind of a bittersweet moment in the middle of Wal-Mart.
